Shipments and returns

Shipment

Packages are generally dispatched within 2 days after receipt of payment and are shipped via UPS/FedEx/USPS with tracking and drop-off without signature. If you prefer delivery by UPS/FedEx/USPS Extra with required signature, an additional cost will be applied, so please contact us before choosing this method. HRMP will provide you with a link to track your package online.

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Special care is taken to protect fragile objects.

Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.

Returns

We are here to help so lets try to sort out any problems before we all go through the trouble or returning any parts. All returns must be accompanied by a RMA# (Return merchandise authorization number) or we CAN NOT accept the return if it is delivered back to us with out it. Please contact Hotrod metal parts via the form below.

Option 1: Returns will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. This is to cover the time involved in restocking your returned part, looking returned item over for any damage and to cover the original shipping amount we spent to ship the item to you.

Option 2: Return the item with the RMA# receive a full credit to your HotRod Metal Parts account to be used within 90 days for a future purchase, if the credit is not used in the 90 days from the original credit date you will receive a full refund for your credit amount on account no questions asked.

You choose the option that's right for you, we are here to help. After you have received your RMA# please send the package prepaid by you, and have the correct insurance amount to cover the package if there is any damage to the contents. It may be covered by your shipping company. In the event we have made the mistake in shipping an incorrect part we will send you the correct replacement part and we pay the shipping, not you. All sales are final after 30 days of receiving any product or parts, including firewalls, floors, trans tunnel kits etc. No custom made products can be returned, sale of these products will be considered final after payment has been received. No exceptions. Damaged parts: Please check the box on arrival for damage, if there is a small but noticeable damage to the box or packaging please have the shipping company make a note of the damage before you sign for it. If there is considerable damage to the packaging or box do not sign for the package and have the shipper send the package back to us, so we can replace it for you. We will not refund your damaged product but we will send you a new one at no cost to you. Your problem is our problem lets work together to make it right.
